Esteem BJJ is the top Brazilian Jiu jitsu school in Sonoma County! Located in Petaluma, Esteem BJJ was established in 2010 by Michael Stratton and is now the go to gym in the area for Brazilian Jiu jitsu instruction! All persons, ages 5 and up are welcome to come learn the the fastest growing martial art in the world in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. All experience levels are welcome!
Esteem BJJ will once again be hosting Cecil Burch, a 1st degree black belt under the legendary Wellington ‘Megaton’ Dias!
It’ll be on Saturday October 26th from 9am – 1pm, and will consist of two, 1hr 45 min sessions with a 1/2 hr brunch in between from 10:45 – 11:15, which will feature foods from the world famous Gracie diet!
Professor needs no introduction at our gym, but for those that don’t know, Cecil is very well traveled – having taught, learned and/or competed from Brazil to Europe, and has been a student of multiple forms of grappling and striking arts for many years. He has been the black belt mentor for Esteem BJJ since it was established in 2010, and has helped us tremendously by visiting twice a year to give top notch instruction and guidance. Each seminar has received great reviews — if you haven’t had a chance to attend one yet, don’t miss this opportunity! Space is limited since many of those who attended the last one have already prepaid for this one so reserve your spot now!
The cost is $60 — which includes an Esteem BJJ Team Member shirt, since we consider every one who trains at our gym family, whether you’re a lifer or a one timer!
Reserve your spot by contacting us via our website or by calling Michael at 888-1592. See you there!
Unfortunately, I had to postpone the seminar with first degree black belt, Cecil Burch, until Saturday May 18th. Unforeseeable circumstances caused the delay, but Cecil had actually suffered a shoulder injury two weeks ago competing in the Pan Ams, and was still willing to come out to our gym and teach us. The postponement will make the timing better and will give Cecil a chance to heal up. Looking forward to May 18th!
